Storybook House
Storybook House was a project that focussed on inner city living, utilising the existing space to create a functional small family home with multi-use spaces. The building is designed to showcase open garden spaces, including internal courtyards, a roof garden, and borrowed landscape from the adjacent park, offering a unique and innovative living experience.
Hermon House
Hermon House project is a beautifully vibrant contemporary renovation of an early 20th Century Federation plus 90s renovation. This project embodied the idea that clients are custodians of a space, and seeks to honour and celebrate the contributions made over the decades. A stunning transformation inspired by the blend of old and new in this unique renovation.
Bridge House
Bridge House was a project designed to honour the intrinsic human connection to nature. This contemporary extension recognises the home’s Modernist beginnings while creating a flexible and enduring family haven. The original concrete facade has been retained yet stretched outward, to cleverly balance the old with the new, creating a canopy-like second skin that gives the master retreat a serene, treehouse-like quality.
Perimeter House
Perimeter House was a project that delicately integrated with its urban surroundings, meeting the streetscape with its stylish design. The two-level structure features a combination of recycled white and dark concrete bricks, providing a modern contrast to the existing heritage front and honoring the industrial vibe of its Abbotsford location.
Merricks Guest House
Merricks Guest House is nestled in the rolling paddocks of the Mornington Peninsula. This refuge from the outside world is complete with native landscaping, seamlessly blending with the surrounding natural environment to provide a peaceful and tranquil retreat for all who visit.
Blockhouse
The Blockhouse combines the protective, robust and unshakable qualities of its muse with a nod to the area’s heritage. The project responded to its present context, creating a sanctuary from the roar of one of Melbourne’s busiest roads while paying homage to the remaining relics of its former life. This work showcases the project's unique ability to blend a contextually appropriate relevance with a reverence for the past.
Artbank
Artbank was a project that transformed a worn-out warehouse in Collingwood into a vibrant space for showcasing creative works. With a showing space, extensive storage facilities, quarantine areas for new pieces, and a designated space for resident artists.
Bellaire House
Bellaire Court home in Beaumaris was meticulously built and finished. It heroes concrete, natural timber and steel in their rawest forms. Contemporary design is met with warm intricacies that make it exceptionally livable and suited to its bayside location.
Deco House
Deco House is a project that showcases the transformation of a period cottage into a functional family home on a generous block in Kew. The renovation boasts a tasteful Art Deco influence, balancing contemporary materials with arching silhouettes and geometric figures used throughout the design.
Higher Ground
Higher Ground is a stunning dining destination in Melbourne's CBD. This reimagined former power station features six new connected levels that wrap around the original brick building, creating a unique suite of intimate, tiered platforms.
